There is much more to Shrine membership than parades and circuses. We are a vast organization offering an opportunity to make new friends, enjoy the fellowship of our members, be active in the community, and support the life-saving philanthropic work of the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
All Shriners are Masons. To be eligible for membership, a man must hold the title of Master Mason in Freemasonry. Once he has achieved Master Mason status, he may petition to become a Shriner. The cost to join the Shrine is minimal ($100), and various Shrine Units may require additional membership fees.
