Meets 2nd Thursday, Nov & Jan thru May at Pringle

The Southern Hills Shrine Club is composed of Shriners from the Southern Black Hills area. Some members are also members of the Naja T's, Starbirds and Hillbilly Patrol. The club meets in Pringle at the Hitch Rail, January through May.

Some years ago, the Southern Hills Shrine Club took on as a project to buy, manage, and sell novelties at the Rapid City Circus. The project nets Naja Temple from $8,000 to $10,000 each year. In recent years, we have assisted the Nobles in the Northern Hills with novelty sales for the Northern Hills Circus in Belle Fourche.

We support youth soccer programs in the Southern Hills by providing funds to purchase uniforms for the teams. Presently we have sponsored teams in Hot Springs, Custer and Hill City. We sponsor a golf tournament to raise funds for this project.

Meets Second Saturday

Then Northern Hills Shrine Club is small in membership but high in "esperit de corps." As the Southern Hills and Four River Shrine Clubs, we do not have our own building for our activities, but move from town to town and restaurant to restaurant. This facilitates our membership who are mainly from the Belle Fourche, Newell, Lead, Deadwood, Spearfish and Sturgis. Any noble is more than welcome to visit or join us on the 2nd Saturday of each month. We do not meet in July or August. You may contact me at 605.787.5925 for locations of the monthly meetings.

We are in the process of raising enough money to send at least one local nurse to the Galveston Burn Center for a week of training. We have sent nurses in the past and once they return full of new knowledge and enthusiasm, they are more wiling to give lectures to not only local hospital staff's but to any interested organizations. This has helped the Shrine immensely.
