Nobles . . . Thank you for the honor of serving you year as Potentate of Naja Shrine.  It is a great honor for me has been a long journey to get to this point, but I assure you that I am ready, willing and able to work hand and hand with every Noble to make sure that the children that we serve in Western South Dakota continue to receive the finest medical care in the country free of charge.

Starting this month, let’s all make a commitment to be out in our communities reminding the citizens that we still are a viable organization to support and especially join and become a part of our fraternity’s mission.  Take part in local parades, community gatherings, civic meetings wherever you can to spread the word about the Shrine and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Especially, support your unit, club and temple by attending as many Naja events this year as possible.  This is particularly important when it involves the recruiting and creating of new Naja Nobles.  Attend your Masonic Lodge.  Your brothers new and old need to see you, work with you, speak to you, and especially laugh with you.  That is what we are about, getting together for FELLOWSHIP and FUN.

I will touch base with every one of you monthly via email to remind you of upcoming events.  If you don’t have email, go to www.najashriners.com.  Every important event will be there to remind you to join us and support Naja Shrine.  Pass the word to those that don’t have internet so they don’t miss out on the fun.

Above all else, let this organization touch your heart.  Let it change your life.  I promise you that if you do, you will be ready to help change the lives of the children of Western South Dakota.
